Original artwork in paint and thread of three gulls having a chat in front of Worthing Pier. The scene made me smile as they looked like three friends meeting for a chat under lockdown and shouting across the 2m distance!. Piece is worked over natural fabrics - calico , silk noil and cotton batting, which are layered to form a textured background and then painted before being free motion embroidered in natural rayon threads.
